We are proud to host a vibrant and engaging season running from September to March. We invite young athletes to take part in this thrilling journey, filled with teamwork, skill development, and lots of fun!

Age Groups

In the junior baseball division, the age-specific groups are designed to support the development of young athletes at various stages.

The U8 group serves as an introduction to the fundamentals of the game, fostering a love for baseball in players as young as 8 years old.
As they progress, the U10 group builds on these skills, emphasizing teamwork and strategy.
The U12 division sees players refining their techniques and understanding of the game as they gain experience.
Moving into the U15 group, athletes take on more competitive play, where physical and mental skills are further honed.
Finally, the U19 category prepares older teens for potential transitions into higher levels of competition or college baseball, ensuring a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to youth baseball development.

Practice Schedule

Our junior baseball teams meet twice a week for practice:

Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 5:00 PM
Location: Benoni Northerns Sports complex, Benoni Indians Baseball fields

Practicing together helps foster teamwork and build valuable baseball skills in an encouraging and supportive environment.

Game Days

Games are played on Sundays at various times and venues. Our league involvement allows players to showcase their skills and compete against other teams in the Gauteng league.

Registration and Fees

To join the Benoni Northerns Indians Ball Club, a subscription fee of R1700 for the first child applies. We offer discounts for additional siblings:

Second Child: R1450
Third Child: R1250

Special Note: Players participating in other sports at Benoni Northerns receive a discount of R250 on their subs.

U8 fees – R1250 – No Easterns or Gauteng registration required.

Deposit of R500 due by 1st October 2025.

Please note, for players to be eligible for regional, provincial and national teams, they are first ratified by the club to be in good standing. This includes the timeous payment of fees.
All fees due by the end of November 2025.

Membership Benefits

Your subscription provides access to the following benefits:

Membership in both the Benoni Indians Baseball Club and the main club
Entry into the Gauteng league
Regular weekly practices
A players cap (included with your registration)

Kit Information

For uniform requirements, you can purchase a kit shirt from our online shop. Information about purchasing pants will be provided soon, along with a list of recommended suppliers.

Commitment to the Team

We aim to build commitment and teamwork among our young athletes. Players are expected to attend practices regularly and participate in Sunday games. To enter the cup/plate tournament at the end of the season, players must maintain a minimum attendance of 60% at league games.
